Updated 27 September 2026 · Private beta
Love22 is an adults-only alternative dating service for singles, pairs and groups. This notice explains the current private beta and this information website. Public registration and paid access are not offered on this website.
Who is responsible
Clean Whale sp. z o.o. is the controller of personal data processed for Love22. Registered office: Al. Powstania Warszawskiego 15, 31-539 Kraków, Poland. KRS: 0000868230. NIP: 6751738063.
For privacy requests and questions, email salihorsk@gmail.com. Please do not send passwords or verification codes.
Information we process
Account data includes your email, account identifier and authentication records. Profile data includes your display name, self-declared age, gender identity, city and country, biography, relationship context, photo, matching preferences and incoming-contact preferences. We also process invitations, membership decisions, personal likes, shared-room messages, reports, blocks and review decisions.
Someone inviting you may enter your display name before you join. You use your own account and decide whether to accept membership. Another member cannot accept an invitation or give your personal approval for you.
Phone verification uses your phone number, delivery records and verification challenge. A server-side phone ownership identifier helps prevent the same verified number from being claimed by different profiles. When WhatsApp delivery is enabled, the recipient number and authentication code are sent to Meta's WhatsApp Cloud API. This delivery integration does not send Meta your Love22 profile photo or chat messages. AWS Cognito provides email account access and, when configured, SMS delivery. Follow the delivery channel shown in your app.
The app does not request GPS location, address-book access or identity documents. Submitted photos are reviewed by people; this is not biometric identification or document verification. Hosting and account infrastructure may process IP addresses, request metadata and technical errors for delivery and security.
Why information is used
Account access, requested invitations, matching and conversations use information needed to provide the service you request (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). Security, abuse prevention, report review and enforcement of service rules serve our legitimate interests in protecting members and operating the service (Article 6(1)(f)), subject to your rights. Where a specific legal obligation applies, processing may be necessary to comply with it (Article 6(1)(c)).
Gender, relationship information and matching preferences can reveal sexual orientation or other special-category data. Such processing requires a separate applicable condition under Article 9 GDPR. The current beta's age, safety and membership acknowledgements are not separate explicit consent to this processing. Reading this notice or accepting the Terms does not provide that consent. The separate consent process for public release is not yet available. Contact us about these data or to request restriction or deletion.
We do not use current app data for cross-company advertising tracking. Discovery uses profile information, preferences and verification status. A match needs the participating members' individual choices; payment does not replace their approval.
Who can access information
Eligible signed-in members can see discovery profile information and approved photos. Room participants can see messages in their shared room. Authorized operators can inspect submitted photos, linked-profile information and reports for moderation. Email addresses, full phone numbers and verification codes are not public profile fields.
AWS provides account and backend infrastructure. The deployed backend is in US East (Northern Virginia). Meta handles WhatsApp code delivery when enabled. These arrangements can involve processing outside the European Economic Area. The applicable contractual transfer safeguards have not yet been confirmed for public release; this notice does not claim a particular certification or contract is in place. Contact us for the current information about recipients and safeguards.
We may disclose information when necessary to meet a legal obligation or respond to a valid legal request. We do not sell member profiles.
Storage and account deletion
Active profiles, photos and conversations are stored to operate your account. Open Profile → Settings → Delete account to request deletion. If you cannot access the app, email support from your account email where possible. We may request proportionate information to verify that the request is yours.
Account cleanup removes personal profile fields, your own messages and submitted media, invalidates related invitations and makes affected linked interactions unavailable. Other members' independent accounts are not deleted. Reports created by the deleting account have reporter details removed. Deleted-profile records, opaque account-to-profile ownership identifiers and minimal deletion state can remain to deny old access and track cleanup. Deletion therefore does not erase every database record.
Provider failures can leave cleanup pending. Follow the app's retry instructions and contact support if deletion does not finish. A WhatsApp code expires after ten minutes; challenge expiry does not erase all associated audit or ownership records.
Fixed retention periods for reports, review history, deletion markers, security records, infrastructure logs and backups have not yet been finalized. We cannot currently give a verified maximum retention period for these categories. Contact us to ask what remains associated with your account or to exercise your rights.
Your rights and choices
Subject to the conditions in applicable law, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction and portability of your personal data, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing. Contact salihorsk@gmail.com to make a request. Privacy requests, support and account deletion do not require a purchase.
You may complain to the President of Poland's Personal Data Protection Office (UODO) or another competent supervisory authority. Love22 is restricted to people aged 18 and over. Please report suspected underage use to support.
